The number of small businesses across the U.S. that have chosen to grow with Amazon is remarkable. To honor and celebrate these businesses, Amazon introduced the Amazon Small Business Spotlight Awards and opened nominations on September 20, 2019. Since then, more than 1,300 U.S. small businesses have nominated themselves for the awards, and today, 18 finalists have been announced across three categories: Small Business of the Year, Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year, and Small Business Owner Under 30 of the Year. Finalists were selected based on their origin story and company vision; customer centricity; and product innovation, selection and value.

Winners from each category will be selected by customer vote, and will receive a prize package including six months of dedicated Amazon account management, Sponsored Products advertising credits, promotion on Amazon.com, and a trip to Amazon’s Seattle headquarters.

Customers could visit Small Business Spotlight until November 8, 2019 to cast their vote for their favorite small business in each category. Winners have been announced, learn more.
