What do you get when you take a group of middle schoolers and give them robots, Kindles, bowling pins, and a bonus surprise? You get a group of very excited and eager-to-learn students.

On October 26, 2018, Amazon’s North Randall fulfillment center teamed up with Amazon Robotics to surprise and delight local middle school students with hands-on experience coding Sphero robots. The North Randall event is indicative of initiatives, contributions, and programs taking place in communities across the country as part of Amazon’s commitment to STEM and the next generation of innovators.

At the end of the day—to the students’ delight—representatives from Amazon let the kids know that all of the equipment used during the STEM workshops would be available at the Cleveland Public Library.
